A Menu That Never Wraps

Dropdowns two levels deep, opening on hover. Items that do not fit on one line fold into a More menu by themselves, so a magazine with many sections keeps a single tidy row. On phones the whole menu opens as a full-height panel under the header.

How do the topic sections on the homepage work?
Type tag slugs into the homepage tags setting, in the order you want them. Each tag becomes a section with its name, description and four latest posts, and a tag with nothing in it stays hidden. One more tag can be named as the highlighted topic, which becomes the full-width carousel further down. The homepage sections docs show the settings.
What decides the featured grid at the top?
Posts you mark as featured in Ghost, as long as they have a feature image. Up to four appear: one large lead, a small card beneath it and two stacked beside it. With none, the page starts at your topic sections. The docs include a short routes file that keeps featured stories out of the regular listings so they do not appear twice.
Does Homa have a pricing or membership page?
No. Sign in, sign up and account all open Ghost Portal from the header, and a subscribe form sits beside the featured grid on the homepage. If you sell paid tiers and want a pricing page in the theme, Rune, Tribune, Senna and Luno all have one.
How do I add dropdown menus?
In Ghost's navigation settings, create an item with # as its URL and start the labels beneath it with a dash. Those become a dropdown that opens on hover, two levels deep if you need it. Items that would not fit on one line fold into a More menu on their own. See the navigation docs.
Can the header and footer stay dark on a light site?
Yes. One setting keeps the header and footer dark in both schemes, which is how the demo looks. Beyond that you set the default to light, dark or the reader's system preference, readers get a sun and moon switch, and a second logo covers the dark background. See the dark header and footer docs.
Which service does the contact form use?
Any that accepts a posted form, such as Formspree or Getform. Paste the endpoint into the contact form setting and the page handles sending, waiting and the success message itself. Setup is in the contact page docs.
