An Editor's Front Page

Every story ends with a subscribe panel, four more on the same topic, a card for each author, and comments folded away until someone wants them. Sharing covers twelve places from one row. A reader who finishes always has somewhere to go next.

Dark Mode in Your Colors

Rune questions

What can the hero do?
It shows a headline and a line of text over your site's cover image, with one action beneath: a subscribe field, a search box, a Sign Up or Sign In button, your social icons, or a block of your own HTML. Choose one of five placements for the image and left, center or right alignment. Everything is set in the design settings; no page is needed. The hero section of the docs shows each placement.
How does Editor's Picks choose its posts?
Mark posts as featured in Ghost. The section shows three of them, each with a feature image, as tall cover cards under the Latest grid, and hides itself when there are none. The highlighted topic below it comes from a tag you name in the settings. See the featured posts docs.
Can I hide homepage sections I do not need?
Yes. Every section carries its own name, so one line of CSS in code injection hides it, whether that is Editor's Picks, the team row or the newsletter panel. The docs list each name.
Do readers get a dark mode?
Yes. You set the default to light, dark or the reader's system preference, and a sun and moon switch in the header lets readers change it for their visit. The dark surfaces take a faint tint from your accent color, so dark mode still looks like your brand. You can hide the switch if you prefer one look.
Does Rune have a table of contents or a sidebar?
No. Rune keeps a top menu and a clean reading column. If your posts are long guides that need a table of contents, Senna and Reru both offer one on posts you tag for it.
Where do the prices on the Membership page come from?
From your tiers in Ghost. The template reads their monthly and yearly prices, benefits and trial days and lays them out as cards with a Monthly/Yearly toggle. Each button opens Portal at that plan, and a member's current plan is marked. The page's own text appears below the cards, which is a good place for questions and answers.
